PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Drop Count Studios is a collaboration between photographers Andrew Bale and Jon Cox.  Their photographs are created using two historical processes, the Platinum-Palladium process and the Mercury-Developed, Gold-Gilded Daguerreotype process. They use these materials to specifically bring attention to heavy metal contaminants in the environment. "Drop Count" is a reference to the chemistry involved in Platinum-palladium printing.
