So a couple of weekends ago, I went with one my dearest friends to Washington D.C. to enjoy the Cherry Blossoms, and of course, to walk off our asses off. Seriously, from the Jefferson Memorial to the Capital is the longest walk ever. You don’t even realize how long is it is, until you drag yourself onto the Metro at the end of the day and find yourself in a neck and neck race with an old lady, a sun-burnt kid, and a National fan (who knew??) for the last open seat on the whole train. It’s not a proud moment, but then again proud took a back seat when I openly acknowledged that riding a Segway would be a better alternative to walking.
But like any good trip to D.C., there were a lot of photo ops along the way to distract me from my aching feet. Enjoy!
