On May 21, 2016, I had the privilege of photographing Ellie and Dominic's wedding at Franklin & Marshall College. Although the weather was being uncooperative, we braved the rain and staged a series of fun bride and groom portraits with umbrellas in front of Old Main and around F&M campus.

For Something Blue, I wanted to use a blue monochromatic color palette to represent the tradition of a bride carrying "something blue" and the fact it was raining on their wedding day.
I also wanted to play up the romance of their wedding day which wasn't too difficult considering Old Main looks like a castle. :) Instead of drawing trees and leaves realistically, I made them abstract and lyrical by using curved lines for the tree trunks and white dots composed in spiral shapes so that the entire scene feels like a fairy-tale.
